Do you run an eCommerce business? In this time of cut-throat competition you need to build loyal customers for your business and brand. Returning customers are the key to success of building a successful eCommerce business.

Building a good business will require two strategies:

  1. Providing good customer support to increase brand loyalty
  2. Increase sales by promoting products to current customers in which they are interested in.

In this blog you will learn how you can use Facebook Messenger to achieve your business goals mentioned above.

We will be using a tool called KiboPush (http://www.kibopush.com/) to assist our marketing efforts:

Initial Setup:

First of all you will need to sign up for KiboPush by visiting https://app.kibopush.com/

There are two options and you can sign up either as individual or as a team account. For the purpose of this tutorial we will be signing up for Individual Account:

Once you have signed up you will have to connect your facebook account and then you will be redirected to the following screens:

Here you will see the list of all the facebook pages that you are managing. You will now connect your relevant eCommerce business page by clicking the connect button.

Once you have connected the page click on the “Done” button above and you will be redirected to following page, where you will see the page that you have connected:

Now you page is all set up, it time to test connected page. In order to do this click on the “Dashboard ” tab on the sidebar and you will be taken to the following page:

Here you will see the dialog box. Follow the instruction provided in the dialog box and send a test message through your facebook page using KiboPush

After clicking the test broadcast button you should receive a test message from your page.

If you have been successful this far, it means that you have successfully set up KiboPush

Step 2: Sending A Product Catalog

Now its time to proceed to step 2. In this step you create several product catalogs depending on different customer segments. You will use these product catalog and broadcast them to you facebook page subscribers.

Click on the “Broadcast” tab on the sidebar. You will see the following screen:

Click on the create new broadcast button and you will be taken to the following screen:

Now click on the card component after which you screen should look like following:

Now click on the image icon on the newly added component select the image of your product from your local machine:

Your image will take some time uploading after which your screen should look something like this:

Now enter the title and description of your product. Now you screen should look something like this:

Now click on the “+ Add Button” button and you will see the following dialog popup:

Here add the button title something like “Order Now” or “Shop Now” and in the button link write the address of your ecommerce website e.g www.amazon.com

Click the “Done ” button and you should see something like this:

In the targeting box on the side, select your eCommerce page that you have connected in Step 1:

Scroll down and click on the “Send Broadcast” button:

All of your page subscribers will receive a message like this in their Messenger Inbox:

Congrats you have successfully learnt how to use Facebook Messenger to market your products directly to your customers.
