RSS Autoposting

 

This feature helps you broadcast RSS updates to your subscribers and also post these updates on your facebook page.

How to add RSS Feeds?

 

  1. Click on “Automation” on the sidebar and from the sub menu, click on “Autoposting”.
  2. Click on “Add Feed’.
  3. Click on “RSS Feed”.
  4. Enter the RSS Feed URL and click on “Add RSS Feed”.

 

How to change settings for RSS Feed?

 

You can make a number of customisations to your RSS Feed. You can change the Feed name, set its schedule, select pages to send updates from and so on. In order to do so, please follow the steps below.

  1. Click on the settings icon on the bottom of the RSS Feed.
  2. You can change the name of the Feed.
  3. You can change its status. If status is active, it will send RSS updates to your subscribers. If status is set to disbaled, it won’t send any updates.
  4. You can change the time when you want to send updates. By default, it is set to “send updates after 8 hours”. It means that after every 8 hours, RSS updates would be sent to your subscribers. You can change this time as you wish.
  5. You can select your Facebook pages from which the updates would be sent to your subscribers. By default, it would send updates from all of your connected pages.
  6. You can change what you want to do with the RSS Feed updates by changing the Action.

If action is set to “Send RSS Feed updates to messenger subscribers”, it would only send RSS updates to your subscribers on messenger. By default, it is always set to “Send RSS Feed updates to messenger subscribers.”

If it is set to “Post RSS Feed updates on Facebook page(s)”, it would post the RSS updates on your Facebook Page’s timeline.

If it is set to “Both”, it would send updates to your subscribers on messenger as well as post it on your Facebook Page.

  1. You can segment your subscribers on the basis of gender, locale and tag. So, it would send updates to only those of your subscribers, that meet the segmentation criteria that you have selected.For, example, if you have set the segmentation to gender Female, it would send updates to only female subscribers.
  2. Click on “Save Changes” to save all the changes that you have made.

You can also view the messages that have been sent to your subscribers through connected RSS Feed and also see the posts that have been posted to your Facebook page by clicking on the message icon at the bottom of the RSS Feed.
