RSS Integration

Rss Integration for News Publishers

Rss Integration feature is primarily targeting news publishers. It will help them to connect their subscribers with the news that is most important and meaningful to them. The feature is available for pages which are registered with Facebook’s News Page Index.

How to set up Rss Integrations ?

    1. Go to kiboengage.cloudkibo.com
    2. Click on ‘Rss Integration’ inside ‘Automations’ in main menu
    3. Click on ‘Add feed’ to integrate a new rss feed with your page
    4. Enter the Rss feed url
    5. Enter a feed title
    6. Select the status of the rss feed. By default the status of integration is enable
    7. Select a page for which you want to connect  the rss feed
    8. Select the number of top stories that will be shown to the user from the provided rss feed.
    9. Click on the ‘checkbox’ if you want to set this integration as the default one. Subscribers will receive daily news updates from the default feed. There can be only one default feed for a single news page.
    10. To preview the integration on Messenger, click on ‘Preview in Messenger’. 
    11. You will be prompted to subscribe to messenger for the first time. Click on ‘subscribe to messenger’ button. After successfully subscribing, click on ‘Preview in Messenger’ button again. The news from the provided Rss Feed link will be sent to your messenger.
    12. Click on ‘Save’ to save the rss feed integration
    13. All the subscribers will receive daily news update from the default feed
    14. Subscribers can click on ‘Show more topics’ to view the topics of the rss feeds that are connected with this page.
    15. Subscriber can click on any topic to view the news from a particular feed
    16. Subscriber can subscribe to any particular topic. News updates from this topic will be sent daily to the subscriber
    17. If subscriber decides to unsubscribe from any news topic he/she will not receive further updates from that rss feed.
    18. You can click on ‘settings’ to edit the news feed
    19. Click on ‘Message history’ icon to view the posts that have been sent from this rss feed
    20. The ‘Message history’ shows the date on which a post was sent from this rss feed integration. Sent count shows the number of subscribers who received the post, seen count shows the number of subscribers who saw the post and clicked count shows the number of subscribers who engaged with the post by clicking on it.
